While we do offer a selection of craft products, our true passion lies in sharing our expertise with you. We provide a variety of learning opportunities, including online classes, in-person workshops, one-day events, and immersive craft retreats. Join us to enhance your skills and explore your creative potential!
On-line classes: (Subscription only) We conduct an online class every week through Zoom. There’s no need for you to have a Zoom subscription to participate; we'll provide all members with the class details, including a materials list and the Zoom link each week. You can join the session using your phone, tablet, or computer. Simply gather your materials and click on the link to join. With Zoom, you'll be able to interact with us and each other in real-time, allowing you to ask questions immediately. Our classes take place every Saturday morning at 10 AM (QLD time) and last up to 2 hours, depending on attendance and the complexity of the card. Additionally, we offer a repetition of the class every Tuesday evening at 7 PM (QLD time) specifically for our deaf students, yet everyone is welcome to join this session (we do ask that talking is kept to a minimum in this class – we use a combination of closed captions and Auslan signing and too much talking can be confusing).
Themed Cardmaking Kits: ($60 retail) Each year, we offer 8 themed cardmaking kits. Each kit features a themed stamp set, often accompanied by matching dies, stencils, and mask sets. While the contents may vary from kit to kit, they typically include essential tools, stencils, and embossing folders. You'll find a wonderful assortment of ephemera pieces as well as all the card bases and envelopes needed for the classes, along with patterned papers and extra cardstock required for the projects. Our kits often include ribbons, specialty papers, enamel dots, bling, paint, glitter, texture paste – a large variety of items that we will be using in our projects. Each kit also comes with a booklet that outlines the materials and tools needed for each project, along with basic instructions—and there's space for you to jot down any additional notes. Plus, there's always plenty of leftover supplies to enhance your personal stash. To inspire you further, our design team creates various cards using the kit and shares them on our Facebook page for you to explore!
Ready to go Cardmaking Kit: ($50 retail) As the name suggests, this kit is designed for convenience. It’s ideal for beginners, those looking to try cardmaking, or anyone traveling who doesn’t want to haul their entire craft room. Each kit includes all the materials needed to create two of each project—everything is pre-cut and ready for you. No specialized equipment is required; you’ll just need some basic supplies like glue, scissors, a ruler, and a pencil.
In-Person Classes: We offer a face-to-face class every Saturday morning alongside our online Zoom session. This class takes place at our studio located inside the Computer Repair shop on Currumburra Road in Ashmore, QLD, starting at 10 AM. All materials and tools required for the weekly project will be provided, and we supply enough materials for you to create a second project at home. Since space is limited, advance booking is essential. Each class is priced at $20 for non-members, $15 for subscription members, or just $5 for members who have purchased the current kit and bring their own materials.
On-line Master Class: ($5 retail) This class is designed for our members who thrive on a challenge. Held on the second Wednesday of each month at 7 PM (QLD time), this online session utilizes the current kit and lasts up to 2 hours. You’ll create more intricate cards that are truly impressive—perfect for those extra special people in your life or for showing off your skills! These cards are not featured in our booklet, but we'll send material lists and notes via email to all members, which you can keep alongside your booklet. (Please note, you may need to use some supplies from your own stash, such as plain cardstock, for these classes.) Member Discount / Offers: All subscription members enjoy a 10% discount on the retail price of all products purchased, excluding events. Additionally, members will receive exclusive offers and advance notifications of all events and sales.
